👋 Getting started & accounts

Create an account, sign in, and keep more than one account on the same phone or tablet.

How do I create an account?

1. Open the side menu (on an iPad, the sidebar) and tap Login (Sign In on an iPad).
2. At the bottom of the screen, tap Create an account.
3. Tick the box to agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
4. Enter your First Name and Last Name (at least 3 letters each) and tap Next.
5. Enter your email address. Your date of birth is optional: we only use it to understand our age groups and to show you a private birthday card.
6. Choose Username (at least 4 characters, no spaces) and tap Sign Up.
7. On Confirm it's you, tap Email me a code, or Text me a code to use your mobile number instead. Enter the 6-digit code.

Can I sign up with Apple or Google?

1. On the Create an account screen, tap Continue with Apple (iPhone and iPad only) or Continue with Google.
2. On Finish your profile, enter your First Name, an optional date of birth, and Choose Username (3–30 letters, numbers, dots or underscores). Tap Done.

How do I sign in?

1. Open the side menu (or the iPad sidebar) and tap Login (Sign In on an iPad).
2. Choose the Email or Phone tab, enter your email address or mobile number, and tap Get Started or Send Code.
3. Enter the 6-digit code we send you and tap Sign In.

You can also sign in with Continue with Apple, Continue with Google, or Face ID or your fingerprint, if you've set them up.

Where's my sign-in code?

• Email: check your spam or junk folder. After 30 seconds you can tap Resend Code.
• Text message: make sure the number includes your country code (for example +44). You can resend after 30 seconds.
• Always use the newest code if you asked for more than one.

How do I sign in with Apple?

1. Tap Continue with Apple (iPhone and iPad only; it isn't offered on Android).
2. The first time, if you already have a Prayer Circle account, choose Share My Email when Apple asks. That's how we find your account.

How do I sign in with Google?

1. Tap Continue with Google and choose your Google account.

How do I sign in with Face ID or my fingerprint?

1. Sign in once with a code, Apple or Google.
2. When asked "Sign in faster next time?", tap Set up. Or add it later in Settings › Sign-in & security › Passkeys.
3. Next time, tap Sign in with Face ID (iPhone and iPad) or Sign in with fingerprint (Android) on the sign-in screen, or under Quick login in the side menu.

How do I use more than one account?

1. Open the side menu and tap the round Switch account icon at the top. On an iPad, tap your profile picture or the Switch account icon at the top of the sidebar.
2. In Accounts, tap another account to switch to it, or tap Add account to sign in to a new one.
3. Each account keeps its own prayers, messages and notifications.

How do I log out?

1. Open Switch account (see above).
2. Tap the red ✕ next to the account you're using. If you have other accounts saved, the app switches to the next one.
3. If it was your only account, choose what to clear on Logout Options, then tap Logout Now:
   • Delete Downloaded Files removes saved videos, images and documents from this device.
   • Clear App Preferences resets your settings on this device. You'll need to set up Face ID or fingerprint sign-in again.

To log out of every account on this device at once, tap Log out of all at the top of Accounts. Your account and everything you've posted stay safe either way.

🔐 Sign-in, security & recovery

Manage the ways into your account, see where you're signed in, and get back things you've deleted. Open Settings from the side menu (on an iPad, the gear at the top of the sidebar), then tap Sign-in & security.

Where are my sign-in codes sent?

To the email address shown at the top of Sign-in & security. If you also add a mobile number, you can get codes by text.

How do I add or change my mobile number?

1. In Sign-in & security, tap Add (or Change) next to Mobile number.
2. Enter the number with your country code (for example +44) and tap Get Code.
3. Enter the 6-digit code we text you and tap Confirm. You'll see "Mobile number saved."

How do I link Apple or Google to my account?

1. In Sign-in & security, under Linked accounts, tap Link next to Apple or Google.
2. Follow Apple's or Google's steps. You'll see "Linked. You can now sign in with it."
3. To stop using one, tap Unlink.

How do I add or remove a passkey (Face ID or fingerprint)?

1. In Sign-in & security, under Passkeys, tap Add a passkey (Face ID) or Add a passkey (fingerprint) and confirm.
2. To remove one, tap its bin icon, then Remove.

Your passkey is kept in your phone's password manager, so it stays even if you delete the app.

How do I see where I'm signed in, or sign out another device?

1. In Sign-in & security, look under Devices. Each one shows the device, the app (Prayer Circle or Creator) and when it was last used.
2. Tap Sign out next to a device to sign it out and stop its notifications.
3. Or tap Sign out of all other devices: every other phone and tablet, and the Creator app, is signed out. The device you're holding stays signed in.

How do I get back something I deleted?

1. Right after deleting, tap Undo on the message that appears.
2. Later, open Settings › Recently Deleted. Each item shows how many days are left.
3. Tap Restore to bring it back, or Delete now to remove it straight away.

Prayers, sermons, Prayer Reels, stories, journal and dream notes, events, reading plans, series, feed and group posts wait here for 3 days. Chat messages and comments are removed straight away and can't be restored.

🧭 Getting around

The bottom bar holds the main areas of the app.

• Prayers — your prayers and the community prayer feed.
• Feeds — posts and live streams from churches, ministries and organisations you follow.
• Bible — the full Bible reader with read-aloud, notes and more.
• Reels — short prayer videos to watch and create.
• Groups — your prayer groups, their chat and prayer wall.

Open the side menu for everything else: My Prayers, Buddies, Helper, Messages, Invitations, World, Events, Reminders, Alerts, Warriors, How To Pray, Authors, Grace Time, Activities, Feedback, Ideas, Invite and Settings. On an iPad these are always shown in the sidebar.

🙏 Prayers

Share prayer requests and praise, and pray for one another.

View & respond to prayers

1. Open the Prayers tab to see prayers shared with you.
2. Tap a prayer to open it in full and read its comments.
3. Under any prayer, tap the pray (🙏) or Amen icon to respond, and tap it again to undo. Tap the comment icon to write an encouragement. The person who posted it is told.

How do I follow a prayer?

1. On someone else's prayer, tap ⋯ and choose Follow prayer.
2. You'll see "Following. We'll let you know when it's answered." When they mark it answered, you get an alert.
3. To stop, tap ⋯ again and choose Unfollow prayer.

If people follow a prayer, the prayer shows how many Followers it has.

What does "I'm praying now" do?

1. Open a prayer and tap I'm praying now. It changes to You're praying.
2. For the next 15 minutes you're counted as praying: the prayer shows the faces of the people praying and "🙏 number praying now".
3. The person who posted it gets an alert that you're praying for them now.

Can I pray straight from a notification?

Yes. Some prayer notifications have buttons. On an iPhone or iPad, press and hold the notification (or pull it down) to see them; on Android, expand it.

• New prayer: 🙏 Pray, Praying for you (also counts you as praying now) and Amen.
• Answered prayer: Amen.
• Prayer reminder: 🙏 I'm praying now.

The buttons work without opening the app. They only add your response; to undo one, open the prayer and tap it again there.

How do I get reminded to pray for something?

1. On any prayer, tap ⋯ and choose Add Reminder. Pick the days and time and save.
2. For anything else, open Reminders from the side menu and tap New Reminder. Add a Title, a Time, the days and an optional note, then save.
3. In Reminders, use the switch on a reminder to pause or resume it, tap a day to change it, or edit or delete it.

Create a prayer

1. On the Prayers tab tap the New Prayer (+) button.
2. Add a Prayer Title and tap Select Topic (e.g. Family, Health, Work, Finances, Church…).
3. Write your prayer as plain text, or tap Background for a designed card.
4. Optionally attach up to 4 photos.
5. Tap Post, then choose Post as @username or Anonymous (your name isn't shown).

Mark a prayer as answered

1. Open My Prayers from the side menu (on an iPad, the sidebar).
2. Tap the ⋯ menu on the prayer in that list, then tap Set as Answered.
3. The prayer now shows an Answered badge. Changed your mind? Use Set as Unanswered from the same menu.

📣 Feeds

Follow churches and ministries, see their posts, and join live broadcasts.

Browse & follow

1. Open the Feeds tab to see feeds as cards. A red LIVE badge means a broadcast is happening now; SOON means one is about to start.
2. Tap a feed to open it, then tap Follow to keep up with its posts.
3. Use search to find feeds, or create your own from the Feeds tab.

Post to a feed

1. Open a feed you manage and tap New Post.
2. Add a title and message, and attach a photo, video, or paste a YouTube link.
3. Tap Post. Like and comment on other posts from their action buttons.

Watch a live broadcast

1. Tap a feed showing the LIVE badge to open the live viewer.
2. Watch the stream and join the live chat. A SOON feed opens a waiting screen until it starts.

Running a church page (admins and contributors)

Open your church's page, tap ⋯ (or pull up the tray) and choose the Admin tab. Contributors can make a New Post or New Event and keep Post Drafts. Admins also have:

• New announcement: add a title, choose Normal, Important or Urgent (urgent ones are pinned at the top of each chat and reach members who have muted the group), write the message, choose which linked groups to Post to, and post Now or Schedule it. Change or cancel scheduled ones under Scheduled announcements; a posted one can be edited or cancelled from its menu.
• Customize page: on Layout, add and reorder sections (service times, welcome, plan your visit, ministries, a gallery of up to 20 photos, support, follow us, text), rename or hide tabs, and choose your Web page address. On Page theme, set the colour, header (slideshow, photo, colour, gradient or intro video), logo, cards and tagline.
• Manage members: search a username and invite them as a Contributor (or, if you're the page's main admin, an Admin). They accept under Invitations in the side menu.
• Edit Feed, including the Leadership team (Add a leader, with an optional title and ministry). The team shows on your About tab, and in Creator's "Who preached this?".

👥 Groups

Prayer communities with a shared prayer wall and group chat.

How do I create a group?

1. Open the Groups tab and tap + (or Create Your First Group).
2. Under Choose Group Security, pick:
   • Private (Invite Only): hidden from search; people join only by invitation.
   • Private (Request to Join): shows in search, but posts are hidden until you're a member.
   • Public (Request to Join): posts are public; people request to join before they can post.
3. Add a name and description, a Group Logo and Cover Image, optionally Link to Organisation (your church), and tap Save Group. You're the group's admin.
4. Invite people from the group afterwards (see Running a group).

How do I join a group?

1. In Groups, open the Find Groups tab, open a group and tap Request To Join. You'll see "Request Sent" until an admin approves you.
2. If someone invites you, accept the invitation when it arrives.

You can choose who's allowed to invite you in Groups' settings (the gear on the Groups screen) › Who can invite me to groups.

What's inside a group?

• Prayers: the group's prayer wall.
• Bulletin: the group chat. It works like Messages, and you can also Pin a message for everyone.
• Prayer Room (when the group has one): a live video prayer session. Check your camera in the preview, then tap Start Prayer Session or Join Prayer Session.
• Tap ⋯ (or pull up the tray) for About This Group, members, Media, the group's reading plan, and Turn off notifications.

How do I leave a group?

Open the group's About page (or ⋯ › Info) and tap Exit Group, then Leave. To come back, you'll need to request to join again.

Running a group (admins)

Tap ⋯ in the group and open the Admin tab:

• Pending requests: Approve or Decline people asking to join.
• Add Members: search for people and Send Invite.
• Edit Group: name, description and privacy. Manage Images: logo and cover.
• Delete Group.

On the members list, use Make Admin or Remove on a member.

💬 Messages & chat

Private one-to-one conversations. Open Messages from the side menu; on an iPad, your conversations and the open chat sit side by side.

How do I start a conversation?

1. Open the person's profile (tap their name or photo).
2. Tap Send Message. The chat then appears in Messages.

What can I send?

• Tap ＋ for Camera, Photos, Video, Audio file and Document, or switch to the Prayer Circle tab to share a Verse, one of your Prayers or an Event.
• Tap Stickers for Praise, Prayer, Encourage, Love, Comfort and Greetings stickers.

How do I send a voice note or a spoken prayer?

1. With the message box empty, the send button becomes a microphone. Hold it to record and let go to send; slide left to cancel.
2. Or tap it to record hands-free, then tap Stop recording. You can listen back, turn on Send as a spoken prayer, or Delete voice note.
3. Voice notes can be up to 5 minutes. When playing one, tap the speed chip for 1.5× or 2×.

A spoken prayer arrives marked "🙏 Spoken prayer", and the person can reply with Praying or Amen.

What can I do with a message?

Press and hold a message (on an iPad with a mouse, right-click) to:

• react with an emoji, Reply, or Copy Text
• Edit your own message, within 10 minutes and before it's been seen
• Send to… a group or buddies (forward)
• Delete your own message, which removes it for both of you, or Report someone else's

How do I manage a conversation?

• In the chat, tap ⋯ for View Profile, Media (everything shared), Clear Chat (hides the messages for you only), Mute chat (8 hours, 1 week, or until you turn it back on), Block User, and Reading Plan (read the Bible together; see reading plans).
• In the list, press and hold a conversation (on an iPad you can also right-click it) to Mark as Read, Pin it to the top, Mute it, Archive it, Clear Chat or Block the person.
• Archived chats leave the list. Find them under Archived at the bottom of Messages, and press and hold one to Unarchive it.
• Unread chats show a count; the filter at the top shows unread only.

There are no voice or video calls in Messages. For praying together live, use a group's Prayer Room.

🤝 Buddies & Warriors

Find prayer partners and commit to interceding for others.

Prayer Buddies

1. Open Buddies and browse My Buddies, Suggested, or Find Buddies.
2. Open someone's profile and tap Add to send a buddy request; they accept or decline.
3. Once connected, tap the chat icon to pray together.

Prayer Warriors

• Open Warriors and choose the prayer categories you want to intercede for.
• You'll see prayers needing support — pray, say Amen, and leave encouragement.

⭕ Stories

Short updates that appear as a glowing ring around someone's avatar.

• Tap an avatar with a glowing ring to watch that person's story. Tap the right/left side to move between slides, and swipe down to close.
• A ring means there's an unseen story; it disappears once you've watched.
• To post your own, tap New Story and add photo, scripture or prayer slides.
• Before publishing, choose Who can see this? (Everyone or Buddies only) and How long should it stay? (1 Day, 3 Days or 7 Days). You can also schedule it for later or Save as Draft.

🎬 Prayer Reels

Short prayer videos — watch a vertical feed or share your own.

Watch

1. Open the Reels tab and scroll vertically through prayer reels.
2. Pull down to refresh and load new reels.

Record & publish

1. Tap Create Prayer Reel and allow camera and microphone access.
2. Record with the red button, or import a clip from your gallery and trim it.
3. Add a title, message and category, then Publish. You can group related reels into a series.

📺 Sermons & live

Watch recorded sermons or join one live.

• Recorded: tap a sermon to open it, then play the video or audio. You can read along with referenced scripture and comment.
• Live: a sermon that's about to start opens a waiting room with a countdown; you move into the live player automatically when it begins.
• During a live sermon you can comment in real time and react. The recording is available afterwards for anyone who missed it.

🎥 Prayer Circle Creator

The companion studio app for pastors, ministries and creators — a full editing room for reels and sermons.

Do I need it?

No. You can record and publish a prayer reel, and watch or join a sermon, entirely from Prayer Circle itself. Creator is for when you want more room to work: several clips instead of one take, overlays and scripture on the video, a series rather than loose posts, and the numbers afterwards.

What it does

• Reels: record several takes or import from your gallery, trim each clip, join them with transitions, and lay text, emoji and images over the video. Add scripture that appears over the reel at the moment you choose, and background music. Reels are always vertical.
• Sermons: record or import the message, write your notes and let Creator suggest the verses to attach, preview it exactly as your congregation will see it, then publish.
• Live: start a live sermon from your phone, with a waiting room and countdown for viewers. The recording stays afterwards for anyone who missed it. You can also go live with a prayer reel.
• Series: gather related reels or sermons into a series so a study is watched in order.
• Analytics: views and engagement per reel and per sermon, plus an overview across everything you've published.
• Comments: see the comments on your own reels and sermons in one place, and pin, hide or delete them. (Replying is done in the Prayer Circle app.)
• Drafts: stop halfway and come back. Work in progress is kept with your account, not just on the one phone.

Signing in

Use the same Prayer Circle account you already have — there is no separate Creator account. Anything you publish belongs to that account and reaches the same people it always would. How do I get it?

Creator is free for iPhone, iPad and Mac on the App Store, and for Android on Google Play. Download it, then sign in with your Prayer Circle account.

🎬 Creator: getting started

How do I sign in to Creator?

1. Open Creator. If Prayer Circle is installed on the same phone, tap Continue with Prayer Circle and confirm in the Prayer Circle app.
2. Otherwise, enter your mobile number, tap Send Code, enter the 6-digit code, and tap Verify & Sign In.

Why can't I see Sermons or Go Live?

• Anyone can make Prayer Reels. Sermons belong to a church, so the Sermon tile only appears if you're an admin or contributor of a church on Prayer Circle. Ask your church's admin to add you (they do it from the church's page in the Prayer Circle app; you accept under Invitations).
• Going live with a sermon can also be switched off for a while by Prayer Circle. If the Sermon tile is there but Go Live isn't, chat with us.

Where are Creator's settings?

Tap the Settings tile on the home screen.

• General: appearance (match your device, light or dark), vibration, Keep new projects on the server (so you can carry on on another device), saving recordings to your camera roll, and sharing usage statistics.
• Reels and Sermons: how the editor opens, auto-rendering while you edit, default visibility and category, recording length, and whether to start (or go live) on the front camera.
• Help & Support: Chat with us, Email us and Creator help.
• Sermons also has Allow comments during lives: the starting choice for each live (you can still change it in the green room).
• At the bottom: the version you have, and Check for updates.

Each project also has its own Settings tab in the editor, which overrides these for that project only.

How do I change Creator's language?

Creator follows your device's language (25 languages). There's no separate language setting in the app: change your device's language, or the language for Creator in your phone's settings.

How do I sign out, or delete my account?

1. On the home screen, tap your name at the top right.
2. Tap Sign out. Your drafts stay on this device; sign in with the same account to see them again.
3. Accounts are deleted in the Prayer Circle app, not in Creator: Delete account here takes you there (Prayer Circle › Settings › Deactivate Account).

Creator says "Update available" or "Update required"

• Update available: a newer Creator is out. Tap Update, or Later to carry on for now.
• Update required: this version no longer works. Tap Update to get the new one.
• To check yourself, open Settings and tap Check for updates at the bottom.

Creator can't use my camera or microphone

1. If you see Camera & microphone access required, tap Grant Access.
2. If you said no before, tap Open Settings and turn on Camera and Microphone for Prayer Circle Creator, then come back.

🎞️ Creator: making a reel

Record or import, edit, and publish a Prayer Reel. Reels are always vertical (portrait).

How do I record a reel?

1. On the home screen, tap Prayer Reel.
2. Tap the ⏱ timer to choose how long it can be: Quick (70 seconds), Extended (3½ minutes) or Study (7 minutes).
3. Hold the phone upright and record. You can record several takes; each becomes a clip.

How do I use a video I already have?

1. Tap Pick from Library and choose the video.
2. If it's longer than the length you chose, Creator trims it for you; you can adjust the trim in the editor. Videos are kept up to 1080p.

How do I edit a reel?

The editor has tabs along the bottom (on an iPad, columns): Details, Media, Scriptures, Overlays, Transitions, Publish and Settings.

• Media: Add Clip for more footage, drag clips to reorder, trim each one, and tap ✂ to split at the playhead. Add audio for music or your own voice, and use Sound Mix to balance the video's sound against it.
• Scriptures: tap a moment on the filmstrip, then add a verse. It appears over the reel at that moment. Scripture isn't burned into the video, so viewers can tap it.
• Overlays: Add Text, Add Emoji or Add Image, drag it into place, and set Shows at and Hides at. Overlays are burned into the video. Add a Color Filter and set its intensity here too.
• Transitions: an intro and outro, and a transition at each cut (for example a fade or dissolve).

How do I publish, or save for later?

1. To stop for now, tap Save as Draft. Your draft is under My Reels.
2. When it's ready, open the Publish tab, check the title and details, and publish. Progress shows in Uploads & Downloads, and you'll see a notice in the app when it's ready.

Can I go live with a reel?

1. Tap Prayer Reel, then Go Live.
2. Answer What are you praying about? and choose whether to Tell followers.
3. While live, you can show verses from your scripture setlist, see who joins, read comments, and Take a Break (then Back live).
4. Tap End Stream to finish, then choose Save to drafts to keep the recording or Discard it.

What can I set in a reel's details?

In the Details tab: Title, Description, Category and Visibility (Public, Unlisted or Private). Under Thumbnail, use the automatic one or Upload custom. To put the reel in a series, choose it under Part of a series and set its Part number (make the series first: How do I make a series?).

How do I change an overlay's text, colour, size or animation?

1. Double-tap the text, emoji or image, on the video or on its track. Refine overlay opens.
2. Change the text, colour and Size, and when it Shows at and Hides at.
3. Choose how it comes in (Text Entrance, Emoji entrance or Image entrance) and its Speed.

To move a verse's timing, tap it in the Scriptures tab and change Shows at and Hides at.

How do I work with music and voice-over?

1. In Media, choose Audio, then Add audio.
2. Tap a track on the timeline for its tools: Preview Audio, Cut at Playhead, Duplicate, Volume (with Fade In and Fade Out), and Move Up Track / Move Down Track.
3. Double-tap a track to rename it.

How do I undo a change?

Tap ↶ (undo) or ↷ (redo) in the controls under the preview. They're grey when there's nothing to undo. With a keyboard, use ⌘Z and ⇧⌘Z. This works the same in the sermon editor.

Can I schedule a live reel?

Yes. Before you go live, choose When are you going live?: Now, or in 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes. Viewers who join early see a countdown.

⛪ Creator: sermons & going live

Record, import or broadcast a sermon for your church. Sermons are always widescreen (landscape).

How do I make a sermon from a recording?

1. Tap Sermon on the home screen. (Don't see it? See Why can't I see Sermons or Go Live?)
2. Record with the phone on its side, or tap Use a Video to bring in one you've already filmed.
3. For a long service, tap Split into a Series and choose a Part Length. Each part is saved as a draft in the same series.
4. Fill in the details (below), then publish from the Publish tab.

What can I add to a sermon's details?

• Who preached this? Choose from your church's leadership team (set up on the church's page in the Prayer Circle app).
• Notes: type them, or tap Import from Prayer Circle to bring in notes you prepared in Prayer Circle (Bible › Prepare a Sermon). Type @ to insert a Bible reference.
• The date, category, tags, a thumbnail, its part number in a series, and who can see it: Public, Unlisted or Private.

How do I go live with a sermon?

1. Tap Sermon, then Go Live. In Go Live setup, choose when to start (now, or in 5–30 minutes) and build your Scripture setlist.
2. Pick the live details your church prepared, or tap New live details to add a title, summary, preacher and start time. Followers are told about an upcoming live.
3. Tap Use notes to see your sermon notes while you preach. Ready to Broadcast shows how many people are waiting.
4. While live, tap a verse in your setlist to show it on every viewer's screen. Tap Take a Break to show viewers "Back soon".
5. Tap End Live to finish for everyone. The recording goes to My Sermons › Drafts, with its comments and reactions kept for the replay, so you can edit and publish it.

Can I use my iPhone as the camera for my iPad?

Yes, while recording (not while live).

1. On the iPad, open the sermon recorder, tap Source, then Use a phone as camera. A 6-digit code appears.
2. On the iPhone, open Creator, tap Use this phone as a camera, and enter the code.
3. Optional: choose Full quality (phone records). The phone records in full quality and uploads when you stop; the take appears in your drafts.

On an iPad you can also plug in a USB-C camera as the External camera for recording.

How do I edit a sermon?

The sermon editor works like the reel editor, with the same tabs: Details, Media, Scriptures, Overlays, Transitions, Publish and Settings. Add clips, trim, ✂ split, add audio, balance it with Sound Mix, add overlays and transitions. Double-tap a clip to rename it. Scripture isn't burned into the video; overlays are. See How do I edit a reel?

I'm in more than one church. How do I choose which one a sermon is for?

1. Tap Sermon.
2. Under Recording for, tap the church. A tick shows the one you've chosen.

The series, prepared notes and preachers you see all come from that church. "You're not an admin of any organisation." means you can't post sermons yet: see Why can't I see Sermons or Go Live?

How do I credit a guest preacher?

• If the sermon notes you import with Import from Prayer Circle name a preacher, they're shown as the Guest preacher. Clear it to choose from Who preached this? instead.
• For a live, add the guest's name under Preacher in New live details.

Can I turn off comments during a live?

Yes. Before you go live, use Allow comments during this live. Off, viewers can still react but not comment; comments open once you post the recording. The starting choice comes from Settings › Sermons › Allow comments during lives. Live reels have the same switch.

Can someone else at my church finish my sermon, or can I carry on on another device?

1. In the Publish tab, turn on Save this project to the server. It keeps your clips, audio and overlays.
2. On the other device (or for the other person), open My Sermons › Drafts. It shows who saved it and when; tap it to download and edit.
3. If it changed elsewhere, you'll see Draft Updated: tap the update icon to load the latest version.

Your church keeps its 5 most recent saved projects. Reels have the same switch, called Continue on your other devices.

Where's everything I've made?

My Reels and My Sermons list your drafts and published work. From an item you can open it, Re-edit video, hide it, or delete it. Uploads in progress are in Uploads & Downloads.

How do I delete a draft?

1. Open My Reels or My Sermons and choose Drafts.
2. Tap the bin icon on the draft you want to remove.
3. Tap Delete to confirm. A deleted draft can't be brought back.

To keep a recording but start again, open the draft and edit it instead.

How do I manage comments?

1. Open the reel or sermon from My Reels or My Sermons and go to its comments.
2. Press and hold a comment to Pin it, Hide it, or Delete it.

To reply to someone, use the Prayer Circle app.

How do I make a series?

1. In My Reels or My Sermons, open Series and tap New series. Add a name, description, dates and how often parts come out.
2. Use Add to series on a reel or sermon, and set its part number so viewers watch in order.

Deleting a series doesn't delete its reels or sermons; they stay published.

How do I see how my reels and sermons are doing?

For everything at once, tap the stats row (Views, Likes, Comments, Shares) at the top of My Reels or My Sermons. For one item, tap it and choose Analytics. You'll see views, likes, replays, shares and Amens for each item, its Engagement Rate, how it compares vs. Your Average, and your Top Performers.

What are intro videos?

Church admins can add short Intro videos (up to 3 minutes) to their church. Creator resizes them to 1080p.

How do I change a published reel's or sermon's details?

1. In My Reels or My Sermons, tap it and choose Edit details.
2. Change the title, description, category, thumbnail, visibility or series (sermons also have notes, tags, date and scriptures).
3. Tap Save Changes. The video itself isn't changed; to edit the video, use Re-edit video.

How do I hide a reel or sermon without deleting it?

Tap it and choose Hide. No one else can see it until you choose Unhide; after unhiding, check its visibility in Edit details. Delete is permanent: the reel or sermon and its files can't be brought back.

How do I find an old sermon?

In My Sermons, tap the magnifier and search by title, description or scripture.

My upload failed, or is it still going?

Tap the ↑↓ button in My Reels or My Sermons to open Uploads & Downloads. In progress shows what's still going; anything that failed says Upload failed and can be tried again. Clear empties the history.

How do I free up space on my phone?

In My Sermons › Drafts, tap the cloud icon on a draft to remove its video from your phone and keep it on the server. Tap the draft to download it again when you need it. This is offered once the draft is safely on the server.

In the recorder, tap Source to pick any camera the Mac can see: the built-in one, a USB camera, a capture card, or an iPhone nearby. Use − and + to zoom; tap the zoom value to go back to 1×.

A full-featured Bible with multiple translations, read-aloud, notes and search.

Open & navigate

1. Open the Bible tab — it opens where you left off.
2. Tap the version selector to switch translation (ESV, KJV, NKJV, NLT, AMP, ASV, BSB, WEB, BBE, The Message). A translation downloads the first time you use it.
3. Tap the book / menu icon to choose a book, then a chapter.

Reading settings

• Text size and screen brightness sliders.
• Scroll mode (swipe up/down) or page mode (swipe left/right).
• Bible Content Mode: Normal, Red Letter (words of Christ in red) or Complete (headings and cross-references), plus Show Headings.

Where's the Bible menu?

On the Bible tab, tap ⋯ or pull up the tray at the bottom. The menu has Verse Cards, My reading plan, Bookmarks, Highlighted, Notes, New Note, Compare Versions, Word Study, Bible Dictionary, History and Prepare a Sermon, with the reading Settings underneath.

How do I highlight, bookmark or add a note to a verse?

1. Tap a verse. The verse menu rises from the bottom.
2. Tap a colour to highlight it (choose Background or Text colour). Tap Remove to take it off.
3. Or tap Bookmark, Copy, Add Note, Word Study or Compare.

Find them again under Bookmarks, Highlighted and Notes in the Bible menu.

How do I share a verse as a picture?

1. Tap the verse, then Share.
2. Under Choose Background, pick a solid colour, a gradient or Your photo, and adjust Blur and Text Colour.
3. Tap Share, Add to story, or Save. Saved cards are kept under Verse Cards.

How do I compare translations or study a word?

• Compare Versions: enter a passage (for example John 3:16) and see it in each version you've downloaded. Turn on Highlight differences to spot the changes.
• Word Study: search a word such as love, faith or grace, or tap a popular topic. Bible Dictionary lets you browse and search definitions.
• History shows what you've looked up.

What is Study Mode?

1. In the Bible menu's Settings, turn on Study Mode. The Bible and a commentary (John Gill) appear side by side, or one above the other on a phone.
2. Scroll either one and the other follows. Turn on Snap to Verse to jump to each verse's note, or leave it off for smooth scrolling.
3. On an iPad, the button in the commentary bar switches between side by side and one above the other. Drag the divider to resize. Tap ✕ to leave Study Mode.

How do reading plans work?

1. Open the Bible menu › My reading plan and tap Start plan.
2. Name it, Choose books, and set the pace (Chapters each day or Finish in a number of days), Every day or Weekdays, a Start date and an optional Reminder time.
3. Tap today's passage to read it. The day ticks itself off once you've spent a little while reading the chapter; you don't need to press anything.
4. Use Plan the next one to line up another plan, or End plan to stop.

• With a group: a group admin starts a plan from the group's About page › Reading Plan, and can set a time the day's reading is posted and a weekly discussion. Members tap Join this plan, can set My reminder, and see who has read each day. Admins can Post today's reading to chat and Open this week's discussion. Anyone can Leave plan.
• With a friend: in a chat, tap ⋯ › Reading Plan. You each see the other's progress.

How do I prepare a sermon?

1. Open the Bible menu › Prepare a Sermon and tap New sermon. It opens beside the Bible, so you can keep reading; only you can see it.
2. On the Sermon tab, add the Title, Church, Preacher, Main scripture, introduction, points and conclusion. Type @ to insert a scripture, or Load passage to bring in the text.
3. Tap Add note under any part to write Sermon Notes for your church; they're collected on the Notes tab.
4. Tap Preach to preach from it, with text size, notes on or off, and Keep screen awake. Print or share makes a printout or PDF.

• Send to the church (or Send to the team) offers your notes to your church, who accept them for the sermon. Share to group sends them to a group you run.
• Live details sets what your live stream will show. Your church's team picks it in Prayer Circle Creator to go live, and followers hear about it two days before. Only that page is shared, never your sermon.
• People watching the sermon see Notes for this sermon, can tap Save to my notes, and add their own underneath.

• Tap the search icon and type a word or phrase to find verses.

How do I play on my own?

1. Open Grace Time from the side menu (on an iPad, the sidebar).
2. Under Choose Your Challenge, pick Random Questions, Choose Chapter (from books you've read), or Smart Personal Quiz (built from your reading; it unlocks once you've read enough chapters).
3. Answer the questions for instant feedback and a score. See your Quiz history and the Leaderboard on the same screen.

How do I play together on the TV?

1. Tap Play on the TV. Choose what the questions are about (a random quiz or a book), how many (3–20), the time for each (10–60 seconds), and, under Between questions, I tap Next or Move on by itself. Leave Play along as well on to answer from your phone too.
2. Tap Put it on the TV, then mirror your phone to the TV with AirPlay (Apple TV) or Cast (Google TV).
3. Everyone else opens Grace Time, taps Join a game and enters the code shown on the TV. Their phones become buzzers: pick the shape that matches the answer.
4. On your phone, tap Start game, then Next question after each one, and Show results at the end.

How do I play with friends on our phones?

1. Tap Play with friends on your phones, choose the same options, and tap Start the game. Players don't need to be in the same room.
2. Tap Invite friends to send the game to buddies or a group, or share the code. Friends tap Join the game on the invitation, or Join a game and enter the code.

Faster correct answers score more, and party games count double towards your place on the leaderboard.

Can I translate a prayer or post?

When a prayer, comment, sermon, feed post or reel comment is written in a different language from your app's, a Translate button appears with it. Tap it and the text is shown in your language, marked Translated. Translation isn't offered in chats yet.

How do I change the app's language?

1. Open Settings (the gear at the top of the side menu; on an iPad, at the top of the sidebar).
2. Tap Language and choose one of the 25 languages.

Light and dark mode follow your phone's own setting. (Prayer Circle Creator has no language setting of its own; it follows your device.)

Notifications

Open Alerts in the side menu for your activity. Choose All, Requests (buddy requests, group invites and requests to join) or Recent Activity, and tap an alert to jump to the prayer, group or request.

Profile

Tap Edit Profile to update your photo, cover image, name, username, status/bio and home church. You can report content or users from the relevant menu if something isn't right.

🗑️ Deleting or deactivating your account

You can close your account yourself, from inside the app — you do not need to email anyone or wait for us.

Deactivate or delete — which one?

• Deactivate hides your account and gives you 30 days to change your mind. Sign back in and tap Cancel Deactivation at any point in those 30 days and everything comes back.
• Delete permanently closes the account for good. Your account and content are removed within 30 days and cannot be restored.

How to do it in the app

1. Open the side menu and tap Settings.
2. Scroll to the Others section and tap Deactivate Account.
3. Confirm at the prompt to open the Account Management screen.
4. To simply deactivate, leave Delete Account Permanently switched off.
   To close the account for good, switch Delete Account Permanently on.
5. If you switched it on, you can choose what — if anything — to leave behind under Data Retention Options:
   • Keep Profile for Community — your profile stays visible to the community, and you stop receiving notifications.
   • Keep Prayers Anonymously — your prayers stay in the community with your personal information removed.
   Leave both unticked to remove everything. You can pick one or the other, not both.
6. Tap the red Delete Account (or Deactivate Account) button at the bottom and confirm.

Prefer us to do it for you?

If you cannot get into the app — you have lost access to your phone number or email, for example — email us and we will close the account for you. Write from the address on the account if you can, and tell us your username:

What happens to your data

Once a deletion completes, your account, prayers, comments and messages are removed from Prayer Circle within 30 days, apart from anything you explicitly chose to leave behind above. We keep only what we are legally required to keep — for example, records relating to a safety report. For anything else about your data, email privacy@prayercircle.co.uk.
